PROJECTS
FEBRUARY 2018 - MAY 2018
Dayxday is a prototype mental health tracking mobile application that allows people to track their daily habits. Our app would allow therapists to better connect with their patients and get a more accurate view of their patients’ day-to-day lives. Dayxday allows therapy patients and certified therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists to have a mutual platform that maximize their therapy appointments via patients’ input into the app on one end and therapists on the other end will have advanced metrics to analyze the mental health status of the patient. Therapists would have the opportunity to view this information from their patients via the app and get a better sense of their day to day mental state as opposed to just what they can remember during sessions.
FEBRUARY 2018 - MAY 2018
This is an individual business proposal for Kidder Mathews to address obstacles that I saw my supervisors encountered during my one month internship at Kidder Mathews as a research intern from February to March 2018. The problem I see is how to successfully reach potential investors and customers in Asia, particularly in China. My solution is a soft marketing strategy via WeChat group chat, which requires a middleman with key connections to wealthy investors in China. Please read my paper to find out more if you are interested.

Our goal is to build online presence for Glow Home, a furniture store founded by Cody Schweickhardt which produces high quality handmade furniture. MAY 2017 - JUNE 2017
The objective of this project was to conduct a financial analysis of our chosen stock and come up with an investment recommendation based on our analysis. My team chose Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) because we use Google products on a daily basis and it would be interesting for us to learn more about Google in terms of stocks.

We had analyzed its multi-sided platform business model, ratios, operating cycle & cash conversion cycle and return on equity (ROE). We also compared Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) with similar stocks on the market such as Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) and Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU). We mentioned risk factors in the business and the EU anti-trust case on June 27, 2017 on how would this financial event affect Google as a company and also the influence on its stocks.
Our investment recommendation was buying Google stock. Due to the new antitrust ruling, we would recommend buying soon because stock has already gone down by 1.2% premarket and is likely to fall more in the near future, meaning the stock will be cheaper. If you already own Google stock, you should hold onto it because Google has many projects that are likely to be successful in the long-term.
APRIL 2017 - MAY 2017
Our main goal is to raise awareness for Recology since the customer market has low awareness about the company and its solutions to environmental sustainability. Recycling trash can be a hassle for majority of the people, which causes people chose not to recycle trash sometimes. Our solution for Recology is to start a marketing campaign --- #UpstyleRecology, and use it to rebrand Recology as a trendy recycling company. Our ultimate goal for this campaign is to encourage people to upcycle, recycle and reuse materials such as plastic.
Our marketing campaign will target children via millennial parental base to participate in our #UpstyleRecology campaign and making them take action. Participants in the campaign will have to make creative projects with up-cycling trash documented and posted on social media platforms as videos, posts or presentations with the hashtag #UpstyleRecology. Recology will pick a prize winner based on the creativity on the up-cycling projects.
Our incentive for this campaign is a $10,000 directly invested in the future college fund of the project winner based on the pool of creative projects that are documented and posted on social media platforms as videos, posts or presentations.
Our campaign's vision is reorients the idea of resource recovery in the minds of millennials and future generations. We hope this proposal is able to improve closed loop sustainability that produces zero waste, encourage various communities to share methods of sustainability and ultimately create a more eco-friendly planet.
